ReCreate Miami!

It’s time to ReCreate, Miami!

Most major cities have a creative reuse center, where artists and artisans can find gently used surplus art materials, and locals and businesses can close their open-ended waste cycles by donating or selling useable materials that they would otherwise throw away. So, while I don’t yet have the resources or capital to launch a full creative reuse center for Miami, I’ve created a virtual network where we can all find, trade, or sell our extra materials for creative reuse and get to know each other too!

We’re starting out as an Instagram account, so the best way to support and participate is to

follow

@recreate.miami

how it works

  1. MAKE PHOTOS of your extra materials to sell, give away, or trade

  2. MAKE IT PRETTY, with all the angles, full length/width views, and detail shots

  3. MAKE A POST & TAG @recreate.miami

  4. WE REPOST YOUR POST

  5. THE COMMUNITY HITS YOU UP to buy, trade, and pick up your extra materials

how to be featured

  1. BE AN ARTIST OR ARTISAN in South Florida who reuses materials to create

  2. MAKE A POST that shows off your work

  3. TAG @recreate.miami and we’ll repost your post

  4. DO A HAPPY DANCE because you’re amazing and your work is too!
