U (the center) is the zero point, the void, the beyond-timeness. It is our very selves.
First in THE WHEEL triptych, this series reflects my experiences chanting The Medicine Wheel. Oooo (u) is the final vowel chanted to, in, and as the Four Directions + the Center in a practice taught by Joseph Rael Beautiful Painted Arrow, which brought me a profound vibrational understanding of our universe.
In his lifetime, Beautiful Painted Arrow created over 50 kivas (egg-like chambers that are half submerged in the Earth) for chanting for world peace all over the globe, and taught the deep essence of vibration through the direct experience of chanting, through his books, and through his visionary art work.
The materials used are recycled sterling silver on a discarded glass table top. A percentage of the sale of all pieces in THE WHEEL triptych will go to organizations supporting the end of polluting mining practices in the Amazon rainforest.
